ORDINANCE 02-09

AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE NEW MEXICO UNIFORM TRAFFIC ORDINANCE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE VILLAGE OF TAOS SKI VALLEY (HEREINAFTER “THE VILLAGE”:

          That Ordinance 97-9 is hereby amended to read as follows:

SECTION I. ADOPTION BY REFERENCE.

The New Mexico Uniform traffic Ordinance, comprising Sections 12-1-1 through 12-13-6 inclusive attached hereto and incorporated, is herewith adopted by reference herein.

SECTION II. CITATION.

This Ordinance may be cited as the Village of Taos Ski Valley Traffic Code (hereinafter “the Code”) and shall refer to the 1990 New Mexico Uniform Traffic Ordinance and all subsequent amendments as they may be promulgated and adopted by the State of New Mexico and such additions and modifications as the Village may adopt.

SECTION III. EFFECTIVE DATE.

This amended Ordinance shall take effect on the 17th day of August, 2001.
