RESOLUTION NO. 2005-93

PERTAINING TO THE RENAMING OF THE VILLAGE MARSHAL’S OFFICE

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE RENAMING OF THE VILLAGE MARSHAL’S OFFICE

            WHEREAS, the Public Safety Director has requested that the Village Marshal’s office be renamed the Village of Taos Ski Valley Police Department; and

            WHEREAS, the governing body of the Village of Taos Ski Valley (Village) met on August 10, 2004 and agreed to change the name;

            IT IS, THEREFORE, RESOLVED that the Village of Taos Ski Valley’s Marshal’s office shall be the Village of Taos Ski Valley Police Department and the officers shall be Police officers.

PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this __10__ day of _August____, 2004.
