The Village of Taos Ski Valley is conducting a Municipal Officer Election on March 3, 2020 to elect two Village Councilors.

February 4, 2020                              
First day absentee ballots can be issued/mailed to voter

February 4, 2020                              
Early Voting begins at the Village Office, 7 Firehouse Road, Taos Ski Valley, NM 87525

February 28, 2020 (Friday)            
Last day to mail absentee ballots

February 29, 2020 (Saturday)      
Last day for early voting.  Hours are from 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Village Office, 7 Firehouse Road, Taos Ski Valley, NM 87525

MARCH 3, 2020 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Between March 9, 2020 – March 13, 2020            
County Commission meets to certify the canvass from the Village Clerk and declare the results. 

Between March 27, 2020 – March 31, 2020          
Certificate of Election will be issued to the successful candidates from the Secretary of State. 

Between March 28, 2020 – April 1, 2020                
Candidate presents Certificate of Election to the Village Clerk and takes Oath of Office.

April 1, 2020                                         
Term of office begins.
